Hello everyone, I hope you are enjoying the summer! I can't wait to go on holiday, in Rome it has been too hot for too long and I feel exhausted. I struggle to sleep at night and, according to Alex I'm walking around semi-conscious.
In my last post I spoke about the new Ikea collection Sinnerling, designed by Studio Ilse.
In that very post I wanted to publish some photos of the beautiful Studio Ilse interiors but they deserve more space.
Ilse Crawford and the studio founded by her, have mastered the art of subtle elegance. The use of colours, the balance between pieces of modern design and natural materials is perfect. They create warm environments that never look too busy even if there are a number of different elements. The apparent order and rigor is the result of a studied mix of styles and colors: it is like these spaces have two strata, the first being more superficial communicates simplicity, the second you catch at a second glance is a combination of various elements that only an overall vision can come together and make such interesting rooms.

Io non vedo l'ora di andare in vacanza, a Roma è troppo caldo da troppo tempo e sono esaurita. Non dormo bene la notte e, secondo Alex, vado in giro in uno stato di semi-coscienza.
Nel mio ultimo post ho parlato della nuova collezione Ikea Sinnerling, disegnata da Studio Ilse. In quel post volevo pubblicare alcune immagini dei bellissimi interni disegnati da Studio Ilse ma ho pensato che meritassero più spazio.
Ilse Crawford e lo studio da lei fondato, padroneggiano l'arte dell'eleganza discreta. L'uso dei colori, l'equilibrio fra pezzi di design moderno e materiali naturali è perfetto.
Hanno creato ambienti accoglienti che non appaiono mai troppo 'pieni' anche se presentano molti elementi diversi.
L'apparente ordine e rigore è il risultato di una combinazione studiata di stili e colori: è come se questi spazi avessero due strati, il primo, quello più superficiale, la prima impressione, comunica semplicità, il secondo, quello che vedi ad osservazione più attenta, è un'amalgamarsi di vari elementi che solo un'abile visione d'insieme può far convivere fino a creare delle spazi così interessanti.
