Kitchen trends 2016

In 2016 I hope I will be moving into a new house and  I will be in the position to choose the colours and style of my new kitchen. 
Things seem to have slowed down at the moment and for a few reasons it is not a convenient time to move. I need a change but I can't force it. 
In the meanwhile I can dream and help those who are about to redecorate their kitchens with a useful list of the New Year trends. 

GREEN

Green, above all emerald green, will be one of the trendiest colours in 2016.

DOTS
Little dots make white more interesting without being too much and allow injections of bright colours without the risk of exaggerating (see image below left).

GREY AND GOLD
A sophisticated combination of colour. You can go for a light grey or a dark hue, for a golden back splash or just some golden details; also you can easily add some accents of wood and white.

SHINY BACK SPLASH

Shiny surfaces reflect the light allowing you to be bolder when choosing what colours to go for.

MARBLE

Marble has made a huge come back in 2015 and it will the right choice for 2016 as well, because it is a classic, luxury looking, durable material. There are some marble looking wallpapers or stickers on the market but I strongly advise you to get the real deal or marble tiles, you shouldn't compromise on this.

Nel 2016 spero che mi trasferirò in un'altra casa e sarò nella posizione di decidere i colori e lo stile della mia nuova cucina. Le cose sembrano essere rallentate al momento e per una serie di motivi pratici mi conviene aspettare prima di cambiare casa. Anche se ho bisogno di un cambiamento non posso forzare la mano. 

Nel frattempo sogno e aiuto chi sta per ridecorare la propria cucina con un'utile guida ai trend per il nuovo anno. 

VERDE

Il verde, soprattutto il verde smeraldo, sarà uno dei colori più in il prossimo anno. 

POIS 

I pois rendono uno sfindo bianco più interessante ed in certi casi (foto con sgabelli gialli) ti permette di aggiungere dettagli dai colori vivaci senza rischio di esagerare. 

GRIGIO E ORO

Una combinazione di colori sofisticata. Puoi decidere di usare un grigio più intenso o una tonalità chiara, solo dei dettagli dorati o l'intera alzatina ed aggiungere elementi in legno o bianchi. 

ALZATE LUCIDE

Le superfici lucide riflettono la luce quindi vi permettono scelte più coraggiose di colore.

 MARMO 

Il marmo è tornato di stramoda nel 2015 e sarà la scelta giusta per tutto il 2016 perchè è un materiale classico, dall'aspetto lussuoso e durevole. Ci sono nel mercato delle carte da parati o adesivi con l'aspetto del marmo ma non illudetevi, l'unica scelta possibile è il marmo vero o le mattonelle in marmo.
