Kook restaurant

Hello, how are you? I am taking advantage of the fact that I am a bit quieter with at the moment and I am going to the Ashtanga Yoga Research Institute more often to practice yoga, which I love and have been doing for years  . 

We spoke in the past about how much I  would like to incorporate a tree or a vertical garden (like this) in the place where I live, so today I wanted to show you another good example of this concept. In the middle of the main room of the restaurant KOOK, there is a big healthy olive tree protected by some glass walls and nourished by the natural light coming down from a black framed skylight. Apart from that, the space is the showcase of some of the most common trends of the moment such as industrial furniture and concrete tiles but the final result is pleasant and tasteful.

Ciao, come va? Io sto bene, approfitto del fatto che sono un pò piu' tranquilla al lavoro im questi giorni e vado all'Ashtanga Yoga Research Institute più spesso a fare yoga, una disciplina che pratico da anni e che amo. 

Abbiamo parlato in passato di quanto mi piacerebbe incorporare un albero o un giardino verticale (come questo) nel posto dove vivo (meglio vivrò perchè al momento non c'entra), per cui oggi volevo mostrarvi un altro riuscito esempio di questo concetto. Nel bel mezzo della sala principale del ristorante KOOK, c'è un grande e sano albero di olivo, protetto da pareti di vetro e nutrito dalla luce naturale che scende da un  lucernaio incorniciato di nero. 
A parte questo, lo spazio è una vetrina dei trend più comuni del momento come gli arredi in stile industriale e le cementine; il risultato è comunque piacevole e di gusto. 
L'idea di fare delle scritte  sul cemento rende un materiale così duro più interessante e crea dei punti focali d'attenzione (vedi Casa the Coto in Portogallo per ulteriori idee).
