Try and think bravely, the rest will come

I am going to be very quick tonight because one of my New Year resolution is in the evenings to not go from the computer to bed straight away. I should try to not go to bed with my head full of ideas. Stimuli, images and generic frustration for all the things I haven't managed to do.

It was actually one of my resolutions last year to be honest!

I have time though (in Rome it is 'only' 10 pm) to publish  the cute images of Hotel Henriette in Paris and to reflect with you on how a room can be changed with wise use of colors or patterns. Most of the 32 bedrooms of this unique and affordable hotel are decorated differently, with flowery vintage looking wallpapers, blue shapes, yellow bands and mirrors or simply dividing the space with two pastel shades. This is how the Hotel Henriette transforms the tourist's stay into a personal experience. 

Do you remember how hotels looked only 10 years ago? The infinite reproductions of the same formula.

This is for me an example of what you can achieve if you try and if you are a bit bold. 

For me this is the best wish I can make for myself and for you. To try and to be a bit braver. 

 

Sarò veloce stasera perchè uno dei miei propositi per il nuovo anno è di non passare dal computer al letto direttamente. Dovrei provare a non andare a dormire con la testa piena di idee, stimoli, immagini e generica frustazione per tutto quello che non sono riuscita a fare. 

Era uno dei miei buoni propositi anche per l'anno scorso, a dirla tutta. 

Ho abbastanza tempo (a Roma sono 'solo' le 10) per pubblicare alcune immagini dell' Hotel Henriette a Parigi e di riflettere con voi su come una stanza può essere cambiata con l'uso sapiente di colori e disegni. Molte delle 32 stanze di questo originale e conveniente albergo sono decorate in maniera diversa, con carte da parati floreali dal gusto retrò, forme blu, fasce gialle e specchi o semplicemente separando lo spazio con due tonalità pastello. Questo è il modo in cui l'Hotel Henriette transforma il soggiorno del turista in un'esperienza personale.
Vi ricordate come erano gli hotel anche solo 10 anni fa? L'infinita riproduzione della stessa formula. 

Questo per me è un'esempio di quello che puoi raggiungere se ci provi e se sei un pò più coraggioso. 

Per me, questo è il migliore augurio che possa fare a me stessa e a voi. 

Di provarci e di pensare in maniera più coraggiosa.
