The poetic "Fisherman Mobile" project

One of the best part of being a blogger it is that you meet, in a virtual sense, a lot of interesting human beings and that people write you to present their work or products. 

Yesterday I received a message from Valerio Vidali, an Italian illustrator based in Berlin and I decided to share his project because I find it very poetic and it is inspired by an artist I love, Alexander Calder. 

Valerio, a part from designing books and many other things, creates mobiles "lightweight and balanced structures that hangs suspended in the air and.. move delicately thanks to slight air currents". 

Valerio has launched a crow-funding  campaign called "Fishermen Mobile"; you can buy his hand-crafts while funding the project on Verkami . 

I think it's a cool idea for a present and a magical buy for kids. Also I love the idea of buying something special and at the same time helping a talented person to achieve his creative goal.

Una degli aspetti più belli di essere una blogger è che incontri virtualmente tantissime persone interessanti e che la gente ti scrive per presentarti i propri progetti o prodotti.

Ieri ho ricevuto un messaggio di Valerio Vidali, un illustratore italiano che vive a Berlino (quando si dice la fuga dei cervelli) e ho subito deciso di parlare del suo progetto prece lo trovo poetico e perché si ispira ad un artista che amo, Alexander Calder. 

Valerio, a parte disegnare bellissimi libri e molte altre cose, crea dei mobiles "strutture leggere ed in equilibrio che si appendono sospese e...muovono delicatamente grazie a lievi correnti d'aria". 

Valerio ha lanciato un campagna di crow-funding  dal titolo "Fishermen Mobile": puoi comprare le sue opere fatte a mano e nel frattempo finanziare il suo progetto su Verkami.

E' un'idea bellissima per un regalo e un pensiero magico per i bambini. Mi piace inoltre l'idea di comprare qualcosa di speciale e nel frattempo aiutare una persona di talento a realizzare un suo sogno creativo.
